Our range of award-winning blends has a range of flavours and caffeine strength. An easy way to explain coffee roast levels is looking at the colour of the roasted beans. As they develop in the roasting process, they become darker. The process affects the volatile aromatic compounds in coffee, which gives our blends are range of delicious flavours and aromas.
Medium Roast: Strength Level 3, 4
Our mildest coffee strength, they are roasted for a shorter time. More moisture is retained in the bean, creating a blend with brighter flavours and retaining the flavour characteristics of that region. The beans look medium brown, with no visible oil sheen.
High Roast: Strength Level 5
Richer and darker, the beans stay in the roasting process for a longer time and are dropped out at a higher temperature. The flavour complexity is swapped for a rich chocolatey taste. These beans will have a slightly shiny look from the coffee oils.
